html Our Story | Reforox – Single-Origin Tea from Yunnan

Why Reforox?

I needed a way to stop. To be still. Reforox is what I built for that.

This is something I made for myself. It's also for anyone who feels the same way.

Where It Began

The founder tried many things to quiet the noise. Sports. Reading. They helped, each in their own moment. But none of them could follow her everywhere.

Then she found tea. Not one particular kind — just tea, in all its forms. What drew her in wasn't a single variety. It was that tea could be there no matter what she was doing. Reading. Working. After a workout. On the road. In a hotel room in a city she didn't know. Tea could go with her. A cup in hand, and the world slowed down just enough.

Over time, she noticed something. A few sips in, her body would settle into a quiet stillness. Nothing dramatic — just a gentle easing, a calm she could feel. For her, water was too plain. Coffee, milk tea, and other drinks were too heavy for her taste. Tea was different. It was light. Natural.

Then came the part she never expected: every tea tasted different. Different regions, different varieties — each one carried something of where it came from. This opened up something new. A way of traveling through taste. Of discovering places through what grew there. She started wanting to taste every kind of tea there was.

She remembers sitting on a mountainside once, drinking tea made from leaves grown on that same slope, looking out at the landscape that shaped it. Her body felt clear and light. Still in a way that went deeper than usual. It wasn't just the view. It was the tea, and this moment, and this place — and the person she was in it, too.

A daily cup became something she didn't have to decide on. It simply became part of how she moved through her days. No matter when, no matter where — a quiet sip, a breath, and things felt lighter.

She wanted to make this feeling into something real. Something she could carry with her. To the next place. The next experience. Something that could follow her anywhere — just like tea always had.

That's how this brand began.

Why Does Tea Need a Gatekeeper?

In getting closer to tea, some experiences left an impression — and not a comfortable one.

I've heard these before:

If you can't tell good tea from bad, you don't deserve the good stuff.
Without the right equipment, you're wasting good leaves.
Tea in a bag? Portable tea? That's not real tea. It's garbage.

And other biases like these. So-called "rules" that everyone just seems to accept.

Tea has been placed inside a world that requires you to "get it" before you're allowed in. These feelings are real, and they're uncomfortable. But I believe a good cup of tea doesn't ask you to prove anything first. It just asks you to taste it.

Tea Should Be Simpler

Easy to carry. Easy to brew. With the experience intact. No complicated steps. No required setting. No special equipment.

No need for an elaborate tea setup. Drinking tea shouldn't come with prerequisites. You shouldn't need to "understand" it before you're allowed in. It should be as natural as breathing — when you want tea, you should be able to have it.

Good tea is already enough. It doesn't need to be wrapped in ceremony. And it shouldn't feel like a waste just because the moment isn't "formal" enough.

That's why Reforox exists: to bring tea back to what it was always meant to be.

So the first product is a drip tea bag — tear it open, hook it on your cup, pour the water. That's it. A cup of tea.

So She Made Her Own

She wanted to drink good tea anytime, anywhere. Without waiting for the right moment. Without needing specific tools. When she wanted tea — water, a simple brew, and a proper cup of tea. That's all it should take.

She tried the portable teas already out there. None of them felt right. They weren't quite the taste she was looking for. So she decided to make it herself.

The Right Tea

We require third-party pesticide residue test reports from every tea farm we work with. Current products are USDA Certified Organic. Every batch is tested. That's the baseline we chose.

The fundamentals are in place. Nothing to elaborate on.

Just Getting Started

This is early. Still exploring. Still searching.

Every product we make is tested before it reaches you. Starting small means we pay attention to every detail.

If you like it, that's great.

If you don't — it's just a difference in taste. Nothing more, nothing less.
